Daniel Lauck

        According to the will of Daniel Frielinghaus, his friend Daniel Lauck was appointed Executor and Guardian of the minor children. Daniel Lauck started out as a grocer. By 1862 he became a justice and a real estate and insurance agent. In 1865 he became a Deputy Sheriff at the Court House in Newark. The City Directory of Newark for the years 1868/69 show him in a partnership with F. W. Ricord. In 1878 he was listed as only being a real estate agent. He died in 1892 leaving his widow, Henrietta, who lived at 6 Belmont Ave. in Newark.
