SILAS NICHOLS
November 01, 1835 - February 07, 1893

        Silas Nichols was born in Cascade Maryland and died in Hagerstown, Maryland.  He married Barbara Fessler on March 25, 1861.

        Two additional children were found for Silas & Barbar Nichols in papers regarding a pension fund when Silas served in the Civil War:

Nina D.    Born September 20, 1880
Nora Kate    Born August 2, 1883

        Silas Nichols was working as a stone mason and received injuries in a quarry blast on February 2, 1893.  He died five days later.  He and his wife are buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown, Maryland. Section L. No. 94
